Production
The kit, where a primary source publishes it. Where a figure is missing it is because no producer publishes one — the secondary spread on distillery capacity reaches fivefold, so we would rather show nothing than pick a number.
| Worm tub | Partial |
| Direct fired | Partial |
| Own maltings | Yes |
On the condensers
Worm tub on the low wines / intermediate still only; the wash and spirit stills use shell-and-tube condensers. Graded secondary rather than verified: Springbank's own site never mentions it, and every secondary assertion traces back to a single source, so the corroboration is circular.
On the heat source
Wash still only, and it is a hybrid — live flame plus internal steam kettles. The other two stills use steam coils.
Recent changes worth knowing
One of very few Scottish distilleries carrying out 100% of its malting, distilling and bottling on one site, which is what structurally caps its output.
