Casks & investment
Buying a whole cask is a niche corner of whisky, and a badly served one. What you actually own, what it genuinely costs, and how to check the cask you paid for is recorded in your name.
Most people reading this site want a bottle, not a cask —start with the buying guides instead.
Whisky casks are not a regulated investment. There is no FCA authorisation, no FSCS protection and no access to the Financial Ombudsman Service. There is no official price list and no established selling mechanism. Capital is at risk and past performance does not indicate future results. 18+.
Guides
