Production

The kit, where a primary source publishes it. Where a figure is missing it is because no producer publishes one — the secondary spread on distillery capacity reaches fivefold, so we would rather show nothing than pick a number.

Worm tubNo

On the condensers

Not a worm tub distillery, despite frequent claims. All condensers are shell-and-tube — but the spirit-still condensers are mounted HORIZONTALLY outside the still house, a deliberate imitation of the old worm pipe that formerly lay in the burn running past it. A shell-and-tube doing a worm-tub impression.

Recent changes worth knowing

A £40m twin still house opened in April 2026 on the demolished Saladin-box site, specified with four more pairs plus its own mash tun and wooden washbacks, targeting 9m LPA. We publish that as an announced target, not an achieved figure — commissioning of all four pairs is unverified.
